Microsoft Cookbook Campaign

Project: Microsoft Cookbook GIVE Campaign

Company: Foodcaching

Role: Business Development, Email Marketing

The Microsoft Cookbook initiative is its top Corporate fund raising initiative for 2011′s GIVE campaign to benefit FareStart.  The Microsoft Cookbook is an organic idea to connect and showcase the diverse community within Microsoft.  The cookbook is filled with Microsoft employee family recipes and celebrates the variety of the Microsoft community through food.

To further enhance the community extent of our Corporate fund raising and GIVE campaign, Microsoft partnered with Foodcaching to help orchestrate the initiative and reach out to a selected number of top restaurants in Seattle and on the Eastside to offer the opportunity to connect with Microsoft employees through the Microsoft Cookbook Dine & Give Campaign.

Microsoft selected the Foodcaching mobile marketing platform to enhance the Dine and Give campaign because of its powerful game mechanics and no passes, tickets or coupons are required. Diners download the FREE Foodcaching app (available in Windows, IPhone and Android) that lists the participating restaurants and the special Microsoft Dine & Give Campaign selections.  They visit their favorite restaurants throughout the duration of the campaign and enjoy the special Cookbook campaign selections offered by the participating restaurant.
